Q: Do I need a prescription for physical therapy?
A: No, in New York state physical therapists can evaluate and treat without a physician prescription for physical therapy.  However, we are in close communication with referring doctors and updating regularly on your progress.

 

Q: Does Race to Recovery accept insurance?
A: Race to Recovery is an out-of-network provider.  We are more than happy to check your benefits and submit to your insurance.

 

Q: How long is each session of physical therapy?
A: Each session is 45-50 minutes one on one with a skilled, elite physical therapist. Packages and 30 minutes sessions are also available upon request.

 

Q: What to wear for therapy?
A: Shorts and loose fitting shirt or tank top are recommended.  We do have changing room facilities on location.
